The tripod on the Tanana River at Nenana fell at 3:48 PM yesterday! Too bad I didn't have any guesses for yesterday, but I did have one on Thursday at 3:52 PM. It seems like the river broke up early this year..they're saying it's the first time in the history of the Ice Classic that it went out on the 25th. The Tanana River officially went out yesterday at 2:41 PM, making that the latest breakup on record! Wow haha. No one got the exact time, so the jackpot went to a couple from Kenai who were a minute off. Wow..amazing they even guessed that late!

The ice already went out on the river at Nenana! The clock stopped at 7:39 PM yesterday. It's the 4th earliest the ice has gone out..usually it's the very end of April or beginning of May. Probably cause it's been pretty warm. I definitely didn't have any guesses this early haha ( Read more... )

The Tanana River officially broke up yesterday at 4:24 PM! There are *22* winners!! Woww haha. The website lists where the winning tickets were bought..some were from Fairbanks!

I go to San Diego tomorrow! I'll have Internet when I'm there..hopefully there will be good weather flying down. Yaaay haha
